CHANGE IN COMPUTER SYSTEM

27 SEPTEMBER - 7 OCTOBER

The practice will undergo a major change in computer system at the end of September

Greater Glasgow & Clyde Health Board have decided to change all GP practices computer systems to EMIS.

From Tuesday 27th of September to Friday 7th of October, this surgery will have no "live" clinical system and therefore cannot offer GP pre-bookable appointments during this time. We will be operating on the day urgent appointments, therefore if you feel you need to be seen you should contact the surgery after 8:30am.

There will be limited Practice Nurse and Phlebotomy appointments over this period for those patients requiring regular dressings, health checks and blood tests etc.

We will not be able to issue repeat prescriptions during this time, and would therefore urge you to make sure that you have enough medication to cover you over this period.

We would be most grateful for your co-operation and patience during this time as the normal day to day things will take a little bit longer.
